Reflect

I think that the most rewarding experience of this 10 GNML sessions is how to use media and internet to solve the real problems. I understood that it is not impossible to reach the public. There are a lot of ways how to do it, you should just start.

Hmm, what was my challenging experience? I think that chosing of the right issue was a pretty hard decision. Also i had struggling with the Instagram session just because didn't want to let me log in. Instead i was trying to install the android emulator to my laptop, but finally i just asked about the photo my host sister and finished everything.

In conclusion i can say that my issue of the media propaganda is extremely important in my country and the only one way how to solve it to use the same medias to say the truth. I mean that i will need to use all the social webs and other services to find the solution of my problem. I would like to encourage people to use different services using my knowledges.

Final campaign

I want o make a brief summary about the social webs which can be helpful in solving of my/your issue.
  • First, let's talk about the twitter. I think that it is a pretty good space to work with. The hashtag has a big power. You can look at the pages of the real politics and even directly contact to them.
  • Second, everybody knows that the most powerful video-sharing website is YouTube. It is easy to reach the audience and it is free of expenses. It is popular worldwide, so it it effective enough.
  • Third, on of the most popular social webs - Facebook. It is a good way to use it, because it is popular everywhere. You can try to reach the public without any expenses or you can boost your page if you have a money.
  • Fourth, Instagram is a pretty popular photo and video sharing service, but i don't think that it is a good way to present the issue. It is just mobile service and you can't use from the PC. The public is mostly just youth people and it is not common in the poor countries where people can't afford to have a smartphone.
  • Fifth, LinkedIn is an extremely good way to collaborate with the companies, people interested in your issue seriously. It has a convenient search which help you to find directly what you want.
  • Sixth and the last is this blog. It  is a good way to share you ideas, emotions. It is a space where you can write the big articles and people will pay attention for it.
So, i hope, that is was helpful for you. Have a good day=)

Poland: Europe seeks to counter Russian media propaganda

 — Poland's foreign minister says European nations are discussing how to counter the Russian propaganda they say is seeping into Europe through Kremlin-backed media.
Observers say Russia's foreign-language broadcasters like Russia Today television or online media are disseminating Kremlin's views in order to win backing for its actions in Ukraine.
Polish Foreign Minister Grzegorz Schetyna said Friday this is "Russian propaganda financed directly from the Russian state budget, and there is this question: how can Europe defend itself?"
He said EU nations are talking about a Russian-language television that would broadcast into Russia.
Under communism, people in Eastern Europe also got news from the U.S.-sponsored Radio Free Europe and Voice of America, which laid the groundwork for later political change.

Voices of reason fight to be heard in IS online propaganda war

As hundreds of political, religious and community leaders gathered in Washington this week to discuss how best to counter extremist propaganda, Abu Hurairah Britani was busy updating his Twitter profile photo.
The photograph chosen by the self-described Islamic State martyr-in-waiting shows him with a goofy smile on his face, holding a jar of Nutella. It is in some ways a fitting image for someone whose Tweets veer from calls for widespread jihad to descriptions of his favourite milkshakes.
