Social Change Campaign

There are a lot of social issues everywhere. My country isn’t exception. I think that the main one is media propaganda. Ukraine has definitely not the best times now. There are a lot of controversies among our citizens. The main reason of these misunderstandings between people is influence of media. Journalist’s activity isn’t free now and mostly it reflects the interests of one person or small group of people.

It is really hard to solve this problem in one step. Nobody knows the right solution now, because it is enough modern issue and it needs more discovering. To my mind, we should create websites with the news based only on facts, not on the emotions. Journalist profession has to be separated from governments. People should learn about propaganda techniques more to know how to fight against it. To know the topic better we should use a lot of sources and the truth will be in middle. So, internet is a space which we should use to fight against media propaganda.

Mostly, it is a problem of people of the different classes and ages. I think that the main group of people which can help to solve this issue is youngsters and middle age people. Youngsters are dynamic and they have a big desire to improve world and also they have a time to do it. Middle age people have a big life experience and they are wise enough to give valuable advices of solving this problem. Target auditory are all people, but mostly old people and children, because it is easy to persuade them.


I definitely can say that it is my Social Change Campaign . My goal is to try to solve this problem in ways i can do it. The media will be independent, nobody will not influence to our minds, i believe in it!

 Hi everybody who are reading this post.Welcome to my Social Media for Social Change Campaign blog My name is Dmytro Domanskyi and i am exchange student from Ukraine. I lived in a small (as i thought before) town of Berdychiv with a population nearly 80 thousands people. Now i’m living in Ohio State at a farm near the Cumberland town with population approximately 400 people. It is not very big problem because everybody drives a car and it is not a problem to get to the big town spending 20 minutes. It is very unusual for me, but really interesting. Flex gave me a chance to discover United States. But I think that it is not American dream, but it is a school of leadership. All the stages of this exchange program have a lot of challenges, and I really like to overcome them. I used to find positive sides everywhere. It is a feature which helps me to solve problems and live easier. I am interested in cars very much and I made some really good friends because of it. From the school subjects I like exact sciences and social sciences most of all. But the main my interest is discovering something new.
